Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and review underwriting work to ensure appropriate resource use and adherence to schedules.
  • •Provide advisory services by measuring exposure and analyzing risk to recommend appropriate coverage aligned with risk and compliance processes.
  • •Research data sources and identify trends to support operational decision-making and coverage recommendations.
  • •Assess complex customer cases and apply technical underwriting techniques to recommend solutions.
  • •Apply rating tools and methodologies to deliver to customers and suggest improvements to the underwriting approach.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ (Executive Underwriter) or 7+ (AVP Underwriter) years of underwriting/market-facing experience, or relevant claims/underwriting support experience per level requirements.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Experience working under time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience assessing complex cases to evaluate needs and recommend coverage solutions.
  • •Strong Workers Compensation expertise, including experience underwriting franchised auto dealers (preferred).
