Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a technical lead across the Decarbonisation and Resilience portfolio, with deep expertise across selected areas such as whole-life carbon assessment and net zero strategy.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary project delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs and effective resource planning.
  • •Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication and solutions-focused recommendations.
  • •Apply cost-benefit analysis and commercial awareness to support practical, robust recommendations and manage commercial allocation for the India-based team.
  • •Lead and develop the team (performance, workload, utilisation, technical quality and delivery standards) and contribute to business development by leading or supporting bids and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, decarbonisation, climate resilience or a related field.
  • •A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, architecture, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, process engineering or a related discipline, plus membership of an appropriate professional body.
  • •Demonstrable experience managing projects, teams and client relationships in a consultancy environment, with strong personal organisation, time management and resource-planning skills.
  • •Good knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation and UK/international assessment methods, standards and protocols.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge of energy and sustainability, with experience supporting business development and preparing bids and proposals.
