Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed mechanical analyses and design in line with design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.
  • •Prepare accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
  • •As Lead Engineer (when acting), direct small/medium mechanical teams and lead discipline engineering design execution within schedule and budget, coordinating scope, deliverables, resources, and interfaces.
  • •Interpret contractual requirements, identify scope changes, raise change notifications, and support variation orders; interface with disciplines to develop clash-free designs.
  • •Communicate and document technical concepts, prepare bid and estimate inputs, raise technical queries, review vendor/subcontractor submittals and checks (including IDC), and support audits, quality reviews, and meetings with customers and authorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • •15–20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant, primarily performing detail design.
  • •Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer or a member of a professional engineering society (as applicable).
  • •Seasoned structural knowledge and strong problem-solving ability without assistance.
  • •Fluency in English and commitment to HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious work. Flexibility for hand-over and support across offices as needed.
