Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface with production, inspection, shipping/receiving, and engineering to define quality signals and processes aligned to program reliability goals.
  • •Maintain quality processes to identify, segregate, control, and disposition nonconforming materials, parts, components, and subassemblies across internal and supplier levels.
  • •Lead containment actions, including product traceability, coordination with Build Reliability Engineers on potential flight risks, and supply-chain root cause analysis.
  • •Identify and execute risk-reduction opportunities by removing complexity in designs and processes to improve manufacturability.
  • •Track yield and test/inspection escapes, ensuring past failures and lessons learned are incorporated into NPI.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related) and 4+ years of manufacturing or quality engineering experience, or 8+ years of direct work experience.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical and avionics product manufacturing, assembly, test, and inspection processes.
  • •Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, and provide technical input to assembly and test procedures.
  • •Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and working knowledge of process auditing techniques.
