Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight for collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for civil engineering project development, design, and construction.
  • •Apply advanced civil engineering methods to develop and improve complex infrastructure and transportation solutions across project phases.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans, and update infrastructure layout plans in coordination with stakeholders.
  • •Lead larger-scale civil engineering projects, including preparing and overseeing budgets, monitoring external events, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and teams.
  • •Conduct engineering review of permit applications, plans/specifications, standby plans, engineering contracts, integrated waste management plans, and periodic construction inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • •12+ years of post-education experience in engineering, civil, and infrastructure design.
  • •Engineer license required (CA PE preferred).
  • •Advanced proficiency in civil engineering principles, practices, design/build, permitting, and standards compliance.
  • •Advanced proficiency using discipline-specific design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, InRoads) and supporting project management functions (scope, schedule, cost, risk).
