Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic mathematical calculations and follow simple technical instructions during field inspection work.
  • •Assist higher-level inspectors with roadway and transportation infrastructure inspection activities and project support under immediate supervision.
  • •Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements; perform daily field inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • •Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities; track QA progress and document results for turnovers.
  • •Document project conditions with photographs and visual records; verify materials and equipment meet specifications prior to installation and communicate findings, including safety compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites and other AECOM offices (must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review).
  • •U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and follow simple technical instructions.
  • •FDOT Intermediate MOT experience preferred and must be obtained within the first six months of the assignment.
