Job Summary

Own end-to-end delivery and run outcomes for client connectivity products/services while staying hands-on and guiding others. Set and communicate technology strategy, improve development pods to reduce production incidents and increase release cadence, and build reliability via non-functional requirements. Lead production support and operational rituals (incidents, problem management, retros), manage risk and vulnerabilities, mentor teams, and communicate progress and impact, working closely with Product Owners.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end delivery and run outcomes for one or more client connectivity products/services while staying hands-on and guiding others.
•Set and communicate technology strategy, balancing delivery with remediation of technical debt.
•Lead and continuously improve development pods, measuring success via fewer production incidents and faster release cadence.
•Build reliability by addressing performance, resilience, observability, and recoverability, and ensure safe, predictable small non-breaking releases.
•Lead production support and operational rituals (incident response, problem management, PIRs, retros, stand-ups), fix root causes, and embed improvements.

Key Requirements

•Strong full-stack DevOps experience across build, test, release, and run, including Continuous Delivery practices.
•Hands-on engineer who can code and deploy to production, working across at least two languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Clojure, Python) and willing to learn new stacks.
•Relational database experience (PostgreSQL preferred) with working knowledge of Unix and comfort operating in Unix and Windows environments.
•Experience designing/consuming HTTP APIs (e.g., REST) with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Proven technical leadership and ability to raise engineering standards through coaching and improving team ways of working.
