Job Summary

Provide technical direction and safe onsite leadership for installation, operational maintenance, testing, and startup of gas turbine, steam turbine, compressor, and generator control and instrumentation systems. Work under minimal supervision on customer sites across Latin America, execute site tasks per maintenance/installation schedules and quality check lists, coordinate with site teams, and submit required activity records while following IET service processes and Baker Hughes HSE/quality/compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical direction and safe site leadership for onsite installation, maintenance, testing, and startup activities for gas/steam turbines, compressors, and generators control and instrumentation systems.
•Execute scheduled maintenance or installation tasks on customer equipment with minimal supervision.
•Collaborate with crew members to perform installation and/or maintenance at customer sites.
•Follow site quality check lists for the agreed scope, and coordinate with customer and site team on routine matters.
•Record activities completed at customer sites and execute responsibilities safely according to IET service processes and Baker Hughes core values.

•Bachelor's Degree preferred.
•4 years of industry experience and IET product line training.
•Knowledge of control systems including MarkVIe, Woodward/Micronet, Opticom, and Bently Nevada.
•Knowledge of products such as Aero LM2500 and LM6000 and heavy duty gas turbines and centrifugal compressors.
•Intermediate/advanced English and ability to travel locally and internationally, including offshore work.
