Job Summary

Join the Active Equity team covering Greater China internet and consumer industries. You will conduct fundamental equity research, independently generate and track high-conviction investment ideas, and present recommendations to portfolio managers. Monitor company developments and alternative data to deliver timely insights, support client-related equity queries, and collaborate within a team-based research framework to translate research into portfolio decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct in-depth fundamental research on Greater China internet and consumer sectors, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
•Independently generate, present, and track investment ideas and recommendations for portfolio managers.
•Monitor company developments including news flow, earnings, channel checks, regulatory changes, and alternative data (e.g., web/app traffic, e-commerce indicators, payments data).
•Support client-related activities, including responding to equity queries and participating in meetings and marketing efforts.
•Collaborate with other investment teams and contribute to a team-based research framework.

Key Requirements

•Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
•Solid experience in investment research; sell-side equity research experience is a plus.
•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable investment views.
•Strong writing and presentation skills to produce high-quality research materials.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field; employment is subject to Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (MRCS).
