Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of dry etch technology and essential modules, serving as a dry etch area expert.
  • •Develop and innovate dry etch processes to meet structural and electrical specifications using mechanistic parameter-to-outcome understanding.
  • •Partner with hardware teams to develop equipment roadmaps for current and upcoming NAND products.
  • •Lead multi-functional problem solving for yield, defectivity, and manufacturability, including presenting plans and building mitigation strategies.
  • •Lead supplier head-to-heads by driving RCA, SPC, and corrective actions to close gaps.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep plasma dry etch fundamentals with reactor knowledge and high aspect ratio etch scalability experience.
  • •Advanced dry etch process development experience and ability to connect parameters to outcomes mechanistically.
  • •Experience with DOE/SPC/statistics and model-based problem solving for yield and defectivity gaps.
  • •Cross-functional leadership with a mentorship mindset and strong stakeholder communication.
  • •Minimum education/experience: PhD (≥8 years), or Master’s (≥11 years), or Bachelor’s (≥13 years) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
