Operate and monitor pump-and-treat groundwater treatment systems for an industrial site, ensuring reliable performance and compliance. Conduct influent/effluent sampling for volatile organic compounds, prepare chain-of-custody documentation, and maintain accurate field logs, daily/equipment/photo records, and QA/QC checks. Support operations, maintenance, and inspections alongside supervisors, project managers, and client teams while following OSHA and site-specific health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee pump-and-treat system operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
•Collect groundwater influent/effluent samples for volatile organic compounds and prepare chain-of-custody and sample cooler loading for laboratory transport.
•Maintain complete field logs, daily/equipment reports, photo documentation, and chain-of-custody records; perform basic data entry and QA/QC checks.
•Assist with calculations and setting up/operating sampling equipment and pumps, inspecting installations for compliance, and supporting project documentation.
•Coordinate day-to-day needs with the site supervisor, project manager, subcontractors, and client representatives as directed.

•High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 4+ years of environmental remediation, construction, utilities, or industrial fieldwork experience.
•U.S. citizenship required; sponsorship is not available.
•Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass client-required drug screening and background checks (including motor vehicle records).
•OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (current) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (training provided).
•Ability to meet field physical demands (e.g., frequent standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs), and work a rotating shift including possible weekends.
