Job Summary

Monitor and operate Azure-based systems to prevent outages, perform deployments and rollbacks, and lead incident response as part of a 24/7 operations support team. Troubleshoot Azure resources, escalate to Level 3 as needed, and maintain reliability across PaaS/IaaS components and containerized platforms like Kubernetes. Use automation and tooling (Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, Octopus) and focus on proactive issue prevention.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform L1.5 monitoring, deployments, rollbacks, and initiate incident management bridge during outages.
•Monitor efficiency of Azure cloud systems to prevent outages and troubleshoot Azure resources.
•Escalate issues to Level 3 (Software Development Team) when needed.
•Operate and understand PaaS/IaaS components (including Kubernetes-based services) and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
•Support 24/7 operations, including potential shift rotations every 1–2 months.

Key Requirements

•Perform L1.5 activities including monitoring, deployment, and rollback, and participate in incident management for outages.
•Understand Microsoft Azure Cloud, ideally with Azure Fundamentals certification.
•Have a Computer Science or Information Systems Management degree.
•Familiarity with PaaS/IaaS components such as VMs, Storage, EventHub, Service Fabric Cluster, Azure Kubernetes Service, CosmosDB, SQL Server, IoT Hub, Databricks, KeyVault, and data lake concepts.
•Experience with monitoring/logging tools and troubleshooting, including Log Analytics and Splunk/ELK/Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix.
