Job Summary

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highways and road infrastructure design packages, including geometry, alignment, pavements, drainage interfaces, and civil works. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highways and road infrastructure design packages, including geometry, alignment, pavements, drainage interfaces, and civil works.
•Provide technical leadership by reviewing, checking, and approving engineering outputs such as calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
•Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and ensure integration of highways design with structures, drainage, traffic, geotechnical, and utilities teams.
•Support project delivery and governance, including technical risk management, Safety in Design, client engagement, and construction-phase support (RFIs and site queries).
•Contribute to tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with Australian standards and client requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
•5–10+ years of experience in highway or road infrastructure design and delivery, contributing to tenders and proposals.
•Strong knowledge of Australian standards and road authority requirements (e.g., Austroads, MRWA).
•Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent preferred
