Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support investigations and response activities for security incidents, suspicious activity, and emerging threats.
  • •Design, implement, and improve security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities across the AWS environment.
  • •Develop and maintain detection rules, alerting strategies, and investigation procedures; refine security controls.
  • •Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes, lessons learned, and preventative measures.
  • •Support compliance and program documentation, including evidence for FedRAMP (System Security Plan/SSP Package) and user access authorization.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • •US Citizenship, living on US soil.
  • •Strong experience with security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and forensic investigations.
  • •Deep knowledge of network security, application security, infrastructure hardening, and vulnerability management, including log analysis and event investigation.
  • •Experience deploying, managing, and automating security solutions in cloud environments, with strong AWS security knowledge; experience supporting FedRAMP certification and compliance initiatives such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is preferred.
