Job Summary

Operate as a second-line Networking Managed Services Engineer, keeping client IT infrastructure and systems running reliably. Monitor and triage incidents and medium-complexity requests, investigate and resolve issues within SLAs, and update tickets with clear actions. Coordinate with clients and internal teams, perform shift handover and escalations, support change management and maintenance, and help identify work suitable for automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively monitor client queues and operational tasks, and review incidents and tickets of medium complexity.
•Investigate, resolve, and restore services in line with SLAs, updating tickets with actions taken.
•Coordinate with clients and internal teams to support incident restoration and ensure safe change execution.
•Manage shift handovers by highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks; escalate when needed to Centres of Excellence (CoE).
•Support change management activities (logging change requests, executing approved maintenance, auditing tickets) and identify opportunities for automation and trend reporting.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency with networking/security technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls.
•At least one technical certification in the listed networking technologies.
•Ability to monitor, plan, and adapt to changing operational circumstances.
•Strong communication skills for client-centric, cross-cultural collaboration.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification/experience).
