Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components across foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, governance, and observability.
  • •Optimize foundation model performance for scalability, cost, latency, and throughput in large-scale production AI systems.
  • •Build and optimize multi-model orchestration pipelines integrating LLMs, vector search, and domain-specific models.
  • •Lead cost-performance governance and technical design review councils/boards; mentor Principal and Manager-level AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or related) plus at least 6 years of experience developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s plus at least 4 years.
  • •At least 6 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Preferred: experience leading development AI systems with tradeoffs across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Preferred: 7 years deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent private cloud.
  • •Preferred: build and integrate LLM inference, similarity search/vector databases, guardrails/memory, and agentic AI workflows in production pipelines.
