Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Power Delivery project management leadership across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes, including budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs/earned value, and schedule and cost control.
  • •Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for utility clients, internal leadership, engineering teams, contractors, and regulators; provide timely reporting on status, risks, and performance.
  • •Support proposal, pursuit, initiation, and startup phases including Go/No-Go, contract/commercial reviews, pricing strategies, and delivery risk assessments.
  • •Lead technical and constructability reviews, ensuring selection of qualified engineering/discipline leads and compliance with QA/QC and utility standards and WSP quality plans.
  • •Mentor and coach project managers and support staff; maintain project governance and documentation (e.g., Risk Registers, Project Management Plans, Quality Plans, Project Safety Plans, Communications Plans) and lead closeout/recovery activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, or related field, or equivalent A/E/C, utility, EPC, or power delivery consulting experience.
  • •10+ years of progressive experience in project management or senior technical leadership, preferably supporting power delivery, T&D, substations, or utility capital projects.
  • •Strong understanding of the A/E/C and utility project delivery lifecycle, including proposal development, initiation, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • •Advanced analytical and organizational capability to integrate project controls, financial performance, risk management, and client objectives.
  • •Advanced proficiency in technical writing and project management software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint).
