Job Summary

Support the operation, maintenance, and integration of telecommunication systems used in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions. Maintain and optimize communication equipment for meter data transmission, investigate connectivity and outage issues (including suspected tampering), and produce technical root-cause reports. Provide advanced support across installation and repair activities while ensuring compliance with ISO, information security, risk management, and HSE requirements, and mentor junior field teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the operation, maintenance, and integration of telecommunication systems used in AMI solutions.
•Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize telecom equipment and communication infrastructure for meter data transmission.
•Investigate telecom failures, connectivity issues, communication outages, and suspected tampering incidents; prepare technical reports with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
•Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on resource deployment, work status, completed activities, pending issues, and overall project performance.
•Provide advanced technical support during installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and AMI communication systems.
