Job Summary

Join a rotational onboarding program designed to prepare you for a Retail Personal Banker I role. You’ll use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively reach out using CAMP and approved marketing tools. The role includes cross-selling, outside sales and community events, teller transaction processing, and confidential handling of customer information while supporting risk and customer experience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding/education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification at program end.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products to recommend appropriate solutions.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and other approved marketing tools, set appointments, and perform outside sales activities and community events.
•Process teller transactions, participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, and refer customers to business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) when appropriate.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
