Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide guidance on collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from physical work sites, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • •Apply plumbing engineering techniques across project phases (concept through operation) to identify improvements.
  • •Perform plumbing engineering work including research, inspections, and installation of plumbing, fire protection/suppression, and fluid flow systems in compliance with rules, standards, and permits.
  • •Develop construction and installation plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/phasing plans, coordinating with owners, architects, other disciplines, and clients.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams and deliver code-compliant design plan reviews, technical documentation, reports/presentations, and site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering (or closely related).
  • •7+ years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior plumbing/mechanical design experience.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Strong knowledge of building and infrastructure design and plumbing/mechanical engineering principles, including design/build and construction management.
  • •Proficiency with engineering computations and technical writing, including load calculations and tools like AutoCAD and Revit.
