Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering expertise to deliver aspects of engineering activity for interfaces between platform systems and the PM&C system during design.
  • •Support management of change in the PM&C area that impacts platform systems.
  • •Provide engineering support during set-to-work and testing phases for interfaces between platform controls and the PM&C system.
  • •Support CDRL reviews, data validation, and documentation updates, liaising between suppliers and PM&C as needed.
  • •Own platform controls documents by developing/modifying documents for Hunter Class and provide integration support to PM&C system engineers during design.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualification in a STEM discipline, or chartered professional engineer status (or ability and commitment to obtain).
  • •Experience in Platform Management System (PMS).
  • •Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • •Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise issues/tasks as they arise.
  • •Ability to maintain and develop SQEP in complex warship design and integration of control systems.
