Job Summary

Join the Europe Controllers Group as a Financial Analyst in Poland, supporting Mastercard Europe’s financial reporting and integrity of financials. You’ll prepare US-to-local GAAP conversions, manage monthly/quarterly closing entries, and handle Polish statutory and statistical reporting, including National Central Bank requirements. Partner with auditors and external providers, review trial balances and P&L/balance sheet movements, and support SOX-compliant net revenue accounting and transfer pricing monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare US to local GAAP conversions and support preparation of financial statements for Mastercard entities with external service providers.
•Complete Polish financial reporting and accounting tasks, including monthly reporting to the National Central Bank and statistical reporting.
•Collaborate with auditors and external service providers to meet objectives and deadlines.
•Support accounting accuracy by reviewing trial balances and working with the GBSC to resolve identified issues.
•Perform analytical reviews for net revenue accounting compliance with SOX, including monitoring customer agreements and assessing financial impact of new agreements.

Key Requirements

•Relevant work experience in professional audit (Big 4 preferred), corporate controllership, or advanced financial reporting.
•Knowledge of complex accounting concepts, including US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
•Experience with statutory reporting, preparing financial statements, and coordinating external audits.
•Strong Excel skills and practical exposure to ERP and reporting systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
•Fluency in English and Polish, with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly.
