Key Responsibilities

  • •Bring new subsea products and designs to life for Subsea Production Systems (Subsea XT Systems) from customer requirements through delivery.
  • •Develop subsea XT technologies and create new designs, detailed drawings, stack up drawings, bill of materials, calculations, and engineering part information.
  • •Lead qualification and system integration testing to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • •Manage plans, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder/change management to complete scopes within agreed timelines.
  • •Provide technical guidance and peer reviews, and coach/mentor engineers and designers in a globally diverse team, including patent and Freedom to Operate work.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems, including engineering output to real-life products using 3D models and detailed drawings with CAD software.
  • •Deep understanding of GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles, including Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
  • •Experience generating detailed drawings, stack up drawings, bill of materials, calculations, and engineering part information, plus qualification and system integration testing.
  • •Direct ownership and accountability managing multiple stakeholders, conflict management, and coordinating several projects simultaneously.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering (preferably Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum) and desire for personal development (Chartered Engineer desirable).
