Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned projects under senior staff guidance.
  • •Collaborate with Project Engineer and Project Manager to develop electrical design schedules and budgets.
  • •Perform solar PV and BESS system design (array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, utility interconnections).
  • •Develop construction and equipment specifications and support engineering calculations and one-line/network diagram development.
  • •Support projects through feasibility, design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning; present at meetings as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or an engineering-related discipline, plus 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • •Demonstrated experience designing and integrating utility-scale renewable and battery storage systems.
  • •Current professional engineering license (PE) and ability to attain additional states by comity.
  • •Proficient with industry software such as Homer, NREL SAM, ForgeSolar, and Helioscope.
  • •Knowledge of power system modeling in ETAP and/or SKM.
