Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich synchronous online math instruction, support, and guidance aligned to K12 curriculum and state learning standards.
  • •Manage the learning process, develop instructional lessons aligned with school pacing schedules, and augment course content using prescribed tools and policies.
  • •Monitor and report student academic and pacing progress and attendance; generate formal reports and alert administrators to concerns.
  • •Contact students regularly by email or phone, respond to inquiries (typically within one business day), and participate in academic-focused meetings and virtual staff meetings.
  • •Organize orientations, training, and family activities; lead student/parent orientations as needed and support assessments per policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year industry experience leading to certification (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
  • •Appropriate subject teaching certification, including a state Department of Education high school (9-12) math teaching certification.
  • •Strong content and subject-matter knowledge, plus the ability to support and guide both adults and students.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • •Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licensing as required.
