Key Responsibilities

  • •Deep dive into the engineering BOM and ensure parts can be sourced and procured at target levels
  • •Conduct supplier selection and onboarding of unique vendors to support Space & Intelligence business
  • •Drive on-time delivery and reduce lead-time constraints through innovative solutions
  • •Lead cost engineering activities to converge cost curves to product cost and maximize total cost of ownership
  • •Manage manufacturing BOM development, risk assessments, alternate sourcing, and component qualifications ahead of production

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
  • •5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • •Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
  • •Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance
  • •Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
