Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the 24-week district sales manager trainee program and complete assigned projects independently.
  • •Build product knowledge and help operations in assigned Agent offices by training agents on product, underwriting, agency operations, and sales.
  • •Coach and support independent agents, manage territory performance across sales, underwriting, profitability, and agency management, and recruit/train new agents.
  • •Gather underwriting information during discussions with agents and clients to support acceptance or rejection of risks and advise clients on coverages.
  • •Accompany sales, claims, and underwriting personnel on agent visitations, serve as company representative for policyholder relationships, and respond to inquiries regarding claims matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; or associate’s degree plus two years of sales, underwriting, claims, or marketing experience; or high school diploma/GED plus four years of sales, underwriting, claims, or marketing experience.
  • •Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software required.
  • •Completion of insurance designations such as CIC or CPCU preferred; willingness to pursue insurance designations required.
  • •Successful completion of Life and Property/Casualty licensing exams required to complete the training program.
  • •Valid driver’s license and good driving record required; willingness to relocate and participate in frequent travel.
