Job Summary

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll work directly with AiPrise’s largest customers to understand compliance workflows, build custom integrations, and ship production-ready solutions. You’ll own end-to-end delivery from scoping to deployment, debug complex vendor integrations across 80+ providers, and translate customer needs into platform features while shaping the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Customer-facing engineering: Embed with key customers to understand onboarding, KYB, and compliance workflows, translating pain points into technical solutions.
•Build and ship fast: Design and deploy customer-specific configurations, integrations with third-party vendors, and custom data pipelines from scoping through production.
•Bridge product and engineering: Relay customer insights to the product team and help shape the roadmap based on field observations.
•Technical problem-solving under pressure: Debug production issues in real time and troubleshoot complex vendor integrations across 80+ providers.
•Scale what works: Convert one-off solutions into reusable patterns and create internal tooling, docs, and runbooks to accelerate future deployments.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
•Strong backend fundamentals with proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Go, Java, Node.js) and experience with REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
•Customer-facing comfort, ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and translate business language into technical requirements.
•Bias toward action and ownership, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
•Cloud experience with AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure, plus familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and modern deployment practices.
