Job Summary

Lead a high-visibility production control area at the Andover, MA facility by managing material availability, kit readiness, and execution plans to meet critical customer deadlines. Use MRP/ERP-based planning and data-driven forecasting to coordinate materials and workforce needs, monitor schedules for shortages, and mitigate delays. Partner daily with planning, production control, operations, quality, engineering, and purchasing while mentoring a team of planning and scheduling professionals to drive on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a high-visibility, high-mix production control area to maintain organizational goals and objectives.
•Lead material availability analysis, tracking, reporting, and kit readiness by coordinating BOM, material master, process engineering, operations, and document control.
•Lead and mentor a team of planning and scheduling professionals to achieve program and organizational goals.
•Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to support a controlled flow of approved materials timed to production and customer demand, including shortage/delay mitigation.
•Provide regular material status updates during line of balance (LOB) and other program review meetings, and manage material movement between warehouses, production areas, and customers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.
•Experience in planning, scheduling, production control, manufacturing/operations, supply chain, or related project management.
•Experience managing daily team operations or equivalent leadership responsibilities.
•Experience with MRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent).
•Experience in material and inventory control systems such as Kanban, SMI, or continuous flow manufacturing.
