Job Summary

Partner with Product and Design leaders to help build and scale high-performing, high-ownership teams within Harvey’s San Francisco-based product and design groups. Advise on org design, coach leaders, drive performance and accountability, and navigate complex people situations in a fast-moving, ambiguity-prone environment, while staying closely connected to product, design, and engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner deeply with Product and Design leaders, advising on org design, team structure, and how to operate through rapid growth and change.
•Coach and challenge leaders by providing direct, thoughtful feedback and helping raise the bar on leadership across the org.
•Drive performance and accountability by partnering with managers on performance, feedback, and development and addressing gaps quickly.
•Navigate complex people situations by handling employee relations matters with sound judgment and balancing empathy with what’s right for the team and business.
•Stay close to the work by building an understanding of how Product, Design, and Engineering teams operate to guide leaders effectively.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 165,400 - 248,200 annually

Key Requirements

•6–10+ years of experience in a People Business Partner role, ideally supporting Product, Design, or Engineering teams.
•Experience working with technical leaders - you understand how product and engineering organizations operate and can build credibility quickly.
•Strong judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity - you’re comfortable operating without perfect information and making decisions in real time.
•Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders in a thoughtful and direct way.
•Experience supporting org design, performance management, and team scaling in high-growth environments.
