Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using data across equipment makes and models.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing pump, power, and HVAC equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and complete repairs.
  • •Maintain daily electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience servicing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to read and know schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred; if not held, ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
