Key Responsibilities

  • •Update computers, avionic systems, visual and other systems on simulators.
  • •Perform hands-on integration across multiple software and hardware platforms, including hardware setup and integration.
  • •Develop, debug, and integrate software scripting, and coordinate integration tasks with other groups.
  • •Provide technical expertise during evaluations of training devices and help resolve acceptance faults.
  • •Prepare requirement specifications and project documents, coordinate technical deliverables, and provide project information (status and risks) to upper management.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Good experience working on flight simulators (fixed wing and rotary; commercial or military).
  • •Ability to travel and stay away from home when required, sometimes at short notice.
  • •Comfort providing high level and complex support over the phone to engineers or technicians on site.
  • •Full UK driving license.
  • •Either holds or is able to obtain UK security clearance and must have existing rights to live and work in the UK.
