Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement new mode algorithms for EO/IR processing solutions and platforms.
  • •Conduct performance analysis, algorithm development/analysis, trade studies, statistical modeling, performance predictions, and data analysis for complex systems.
  • •Interface with team lead, team members, and related engineers to support system design work.
  • •Conduct and/or participate in customer and/or program presentations.
  • •Provide task progress status updates and work products to the team lead.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of documented work/academic experience in optical design, algorithm development, imaging EO/IR systems, physics, image signal processing, and/or discrimination algorithms.
  • •Programming experience in C or C++ and using MATLAB or Python to evaluate data sets.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Experience developing signal processing algorithms for airborne surveillance applications and/or detection and estimation theory, including AI/ML and training techniques.
  • •Top Secret clearance and/or advanced STEM degree (preferred).
