Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth doula support to clients as part of Loula’s doula provider network.
  • •Build and run your own practice while working in a non-exclusive network alongside Loula.
  • •Participate in Loula’s credentialing process for Medicaid and commercial insurance plans in California.
  • •Serve insured clients through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program introduced by a Care Navigator.
  • •Coordinate with Loula’s billing and payment support for insurance verification, billing, and payment handling so you can focus on clients.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, or 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR, HIPAA, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support setting them up.
