Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate as a First Officer with QantasLink across regional ports, supporting over 2,000 weekly flights.
  • •Perform challenging hands-on flying across short sectors from your assigned base(s).
  • •Maintain required readiness for checks including pre-employment and ongoing medical requirements.
  • •Meet aviation security requirements by holding an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • •Support a team-based, family-oriented flying environment and opportunities for progression to command.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 500 hours total flight time in an aeroplane (preference for at least 50 hours in the previous 12 months).
  • •An Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL (A)) or Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL (A)) with passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects.
  • •Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on an Australian Instrument Rating - Multi Engine Aeroplane.
  • •A Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your licence.
  • •Hold a current CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate and be able to pass drug and alcohol testing, Qantas pre-employment medical, and obtain/hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
