Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development and optimize aircraft structure layout and sub-system integration, including zonal management of the digital mock-up for large aircraft sections.
  • •Own interface requirements models (IRMs) and master geometry models for major aircraft zones, ensuring subsystem accessibility and maintainability.
  • •Maintain aircraft systems configuration management by tracking hardware pedigrees and versions and supporting assembly process definition and standardization.
  • •Conduct trade studies to optimize system integration, mass efficiency, and flight performance, and support test planning/validation and design improvements from test data.
  • •Collaborate across engineering disciplines and with sourcing and quality teams to drive multidisciplinary trade studies and support supplier/component qualification and inspection requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering (or related field).
  • •5+ years of full-vehicle level systems integration and interface management in aerospace or automotive.
  • •Experience generating Bills of Materials (BOM) and managing change control processes.
  • •Proficiency in CAD modeling (NX preferred), 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, and GD&T, including in-context modeling of large assembly models.
  • •Knowledge of configuration management, systems integration, and manufacturing processes for aerospace structural components (machining, joining methods, composite manufacturing).
