Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as key MPIM representation for East Asia Pacific markets at senior leadership level, capturing and translating cluster needs into strategy.
  • •Develop and oversee cohesive merchandise management strategy execution across channels, driving inventory usage and optimization (inventory turns and E&O).
  • •Manage the Buying/Merchandising Planning/Allocation/Inventory management team to ensure best-in-class execution.
  • •Lead S&OP planning, manage in-season allocation and replenishment, and reduce excess and obsolete inventory with commercial partners.
  • •Build and improve processes and reporting, advocate new planning tools/ways of working, and communicate strategic action plans to global and local teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in merchandise financial planning, buying, demand forecasting, inventory management, store allocation, production planning, sales & operations planning, and planning systems/tools.
  • •8+ years of supervisory experience managing multiple teams across merchandise planning, inventory management, allocation, and order management functions.
  • •Experience across an omni-channel retail environment (O&O retail, wholesale, outlet, franchise, ecommerce channels).
  • •Strong financial acumen across KPIs such as sales, margin, inventory, GMROI, inventory turns, fill rate, OTFR, and OTIF.
  • •Strong analytical, relationship-building, and cross-functional influence skills, with inclusive team leadership and storytelling of insights/actions.
