Maintain and operate natural gas pipeline and compression assets at a compressor station, including engines, pumps, valves, and process equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical components, perform installation and upkeep of facilities and right-of-way, and support corrosion control and measurement equipment. Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance (PHMSA/EPA/State agencies), complete required documentation, and oversee/coordinate third-party work.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, operate, and maintain gas pipelines, appurtenances, compressor stations, process plants, and related facilities.
•Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, engines, turbines, pump stations, dehydration/process equipment, valves, seals, and related equipment.
•Start/stop and run engines/pumps within operating parameters, diagnose faults, and repair components and instruments.
•Perform maintenance and upkeep of facilities and pipeline right-of-way, including excavation, coating, backfilling, concrete work, painting, building erection, and weed control.
•Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company tariff requirements; complete documentation and record keeping; oversee third-party construction/maintenance and conduct training as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Respond to callouts and emergencies after regular business hours while carrying a communication device.
•Knowledge of compressors, pump stations, gas treatment, storage facilities, process plant, gather transmission, and pipeline system operations (plus).
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
•Possess a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements; may be required to obtain job-related certifications and Operational Qualifications (OQs).
