Key Responsibilities

•Establish and maintain Lob's quality metrics program with per-repo dashboards showing test inventory, coverage trends, pass/fail rates, and flaky test signals across the engineering organization.
•Define and roll out a nightly test execution strategy across all repos with regression alerting and failure triage tooling to surface issues before production.
•Define and implement Lob’s Definition of Done, including CI/CD gates, coverage thresholds, and quality checks per change category.
•Define and champion Lob’s AI quality strategy, evaluating AI-assisted testing tools and determining where AI accelerates quality versus when human judgment is essential.
•Partner with engineering teams to standardize integration and contract testing, configuring CI integrations and visibility for coverage across services.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 187,500 - 207,500 annually

•8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, quality engineering, or platform engineering roles, including at least 3 years establishing quality programs, standards, and tooling at a company where that infrastructure did not previously exist.
