Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee underwriting and portfolio management, including structuring, pricing, due diligence, credit approvals, and portfolio monitoring for a large client portfolio.
  • •Supervise, recruit, train, coach, and develop portfolio management team leaders, portfolio managers, and analysts.
  • •Approve credit requests within delegated authority and provide recommendations to improve structures and mitigate risks.
  • •Build an effective control and early warning environment using portfolio and financial reviews, ratings assessments, collateral monitoring, tickler reporting, and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of commercial banking experience across sole bank, agented, and club deal transactions.
  • •Strong understanding of general credit and risk principles, mitigants, and banking policies and procedures.
  • •Ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical solutions supporting portfolio administration and business unit goals.
  • •Experience with direct reports who are managers.
  • •BA/BS degree, and/or MBA preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
