Job Summary

Lead the HSES function by managing professional employees and delivering performance and results for the HSES group. Apply deep HSES expertise to interpret regulatory requirements, monitor compliance, set targets, and drive improvement plans. Oversee training needs, procedures, audits, and performance reporting while facilitating risk reviews (e.g., HAZID) and supporting incident investigations, management of change, and subcontractor/vendor compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain current HSES policies and procedures; interpret regulatory requirements and monitor compliance.
•Ensure appropriate manning for HSES activities and that HSES training needs are identified and delivered.
•Produce and implement local/project HSES procedures; ensure HSES personnel perform as required.
•Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance; facilitate HAZID and other risk reviews.
•Prepare HSES audit plans and activity/performance reports; set annual targets and improvement plans; lead compliance implementation and support incident investigations, MOC, and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

•Degree (or equivalent education/experience) in an HSES-related field.
•Over 8-9 years of HSE experience within the Energy Industry.
•NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
•Trained ISO standards lead auditor (9001, 14001, or 45001).
•Ability to work as a team member and act as a team leader; strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
