CHIEF ENGINEER

Manage all engine room and technical operations onboard a dredger, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous propulsion and auxiliary machinery performance. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with company policies and class requirements. Lead and supervise the engineering team, monitor machinery performance, prevent breakdowns, and handle emergencies, major repairs, and dry-docking activities. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations while coordinating with the Master, shore management, and project team.
