Job Summary

Lead the technical authority for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software (HBMAS) Sustainment and Development Program, contingent upon contract award. Own system architecture and cloud modernization strategy while guiding Agile, iterative delivery across software, systems engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, test/QA, integration, and field services. Ensure cloud and data architecture integrity and mentor a team of engineers and discipline leads to modernize mission applications handling critical intelligence data.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the program’s top technical authority accountable for technical cost and schedule.
•Own system architecture, cloud strategy, modernization roadmap, and the technical baseline.
•Guide iterative Agile development, including sprint reviews, backlog prioritization, and PI planning.
•Direct engineering execution across software development, systems engineering, cyber engineering, DevSecOps, test/QA, design support, and field services.
•Oversee requirements, design, integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment activities; manage technical risks, opportunities, and performance measures.

Key Requirements

•Active and transferable TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility).
•DoD 8570 IAT-II certification.
•Expertise in software-intensive systems, cloud architectures, secure data workflows, cyber engineering, and DevSecOps.
•Experience with classified operational systems.
•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 10 years.
