Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with the Owner to drive excellence HSSE performance of all contractors using both lagging and leading indicators.
  • •Lead by personal example by complying with HSSE requirements and demonstrating total commitment to HSSE.
  • •Support HSSE induction and training programs, ensure personnel are competent, and administer HSSE audits and inspection schemes.
  • •Monitor contractor HSSE programs and work areas for safe working practices and environmental compliance; review contractor method statements and risk assessments.
  • •Coordinate investigations for accidents, incidents, and near misses; develop HSSE statistics, reports, and bulletins, and intervene in substandard behaviors or practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or a professional certificate of safety officer by the Ministry of Labour.
  • •Minimum 10 years of substantial HSSE experience in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, construction, or similar sites.
  • •Strong experience applying worksite HSSE plans, HSSE work practices, and relevant procedures/standards.
  • •Experience with project monthly and weekly construction reporting for HSE performance statistics.
  • •Good knowledge of Thai law and legislation related to HSSE; excellent English communication skills; team leadership.
