Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed structural analyses and design per design basis, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • •Prepare accurate design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
  • •As Lead Engineer, direct medium/large engineering teams and manage discipline execution for scope, deliverables, schedule, and manpower resources within budget and standards.
  • •Train/mentor employees and supervise engineers and designers; coordinate interfaces and deliverables with related engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
  • •Produce structural outputs such as MTOs, specifications, subcontracts, bid inputs/evaluations, and weight-control procedures/reports; oversee design checks, verification, and (where required) weighing activities and calibration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
  • •15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultants performing detail design.
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Seasoned structural knowledge with detailed understanding of design techniques, analysis methods, and standards/codes/guidelines.
  • •Strong organization and the ability to solve problems without assistance while applying HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious practices.
