Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex ML systems, from requirements gathering through release, ensuring high-quality on-time delivery across cross-functional initiatives.
  • •Architect and build the partner integration AI/ML plane for embedded DFM AI + IQE with Teamcenter and Designcenter, including real-time ML serving and low-latency signal paths.
  • •Define data contracts for model inputs/outputs and implement required MLOps, governance, and observability for a mission-critical partner integration.
  • •Develop cloud-based production systems powering real-time endpoints, integrated with Xometry’s broader infrastructure and systems.
  • •Set the engineering standard by surfacing opportunity areas, creating multi-quarter roadmaps, and mentoring engineers through design and code reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •6-8 years of experience owning and delivering complex ML systems in production, with a STEM bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • •Deep expertise in ML/AI including gradient boosting and deep learning and/or generative AI, with strong backend scalability and reusability.
  • •Hands-on experience deploying real-time ML products at scale in cloud environments (AWS strongly preferred), including autoscaling, monitoring, and alerting.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python and advanced ML/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • •Proven MLOps experience including model monitoring, data/concept drift detection, and automated retraining and redeployment pipelines.
