Job Summary

Manage supplier contact and procurement activities to ensure product availability based on lead times, conditions, and pricing. Track claims for missing or defective shipments, optimize shipping and clearance timelines, and monitor goods clearance until warehouse receipt. Provide order-to-delivery-cycle information to product managers and sales, prepare purchasing and lead-time reports, and coordinate shipment checklists, credit notes, and insurance/return processing for defective items.

Key Responsibilities

•Contact suppliers for requested products based on lead time, condition, and price.
•Monitor claims for missing or defected packages and handle compensation factors and credit notes.
•Minimize lead time for shipping and clearing shipments, and monitor clearance until goods reach the warehouse.
•Provide product managers and the sales team with order information across the order-to-delivery cycle.
•Prepare purchasing reports and ensure shipment checklist completeness; coordinate insurance claims and returns to vendors for defective items.
