Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, monitor, and maintain day-to-day compute operations to meet expected service levels, including routine health maintenance and performance-related activities.
  • •Lead identification and correction of faults, proactive issue resolution, and execution of upgrades and change approvals through technical peer review.
  • •Plan and execute minor infrastructure moves, adds, changes, and disposals (IMACDs), and ensure related platform maintenance.
  • •Perform business continuity testing and participate in problem management while providing on-call and extended-hours support via periodic rotation.
  • •Support audit and compliance activities, oversee service supplier/manufacturer activities, and ensure adherence to information security practices for infrastructure and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •At least 5–7 years of relevant practical experience in a compute operations role.
  • •Extensive in-depth knowledge of compute services and infrastructure, including experience across large/global enterprise IT with distributed sites.
  • •Experience working within an ITIL-aligned service management organization.
  • •Proficiency with compute technologies and activities such as servers (Dell/HPE), Cisco UCS, VMware vCenter/virtualization, Nutanix, storage/backup platforms, and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash).
