Job Summary

Operate and monitor basic control systems and process equipment at Dow’s SRO facility in Orange, TX. Perform field checks, troubleshoot deviations, maintain accurate logs, and support safe, efficient operations aligned to plant and business goals. Prepare equipment for maintenance, issue Safe Work Permits, coordinate daily maintenance activities, and respond to emergencies as needed, while meeting strict safety and environmental stewardship standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine operation of control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates and transfer products.
•Follow Operating Discipline principles and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
•Operate and field check process equipment; monitor process conditions and control systems.
•Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process-related deviations and problems; troubleshoot product quality, safety, and environmental issues.
•Prepare equipment for maintenance, issue Safe Work Permits, monitor daily maintenance work, and participate in emergency response as required.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED, plus one of: 5+ years manufacturing experience as a Production Technician/Operator, an associate’s degree or higher in a process technology/science/engineering field, or 3+ years relevant military service.
•Current, valid US driver’s license.
•Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
•Possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
•Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship/support is available.
