Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the reliability, performance, functionality, and cost-efficiency of Garner’s production ML systems, including SLOs, observability, and on-call.
  • •Architect Garner’s ML platform, including required data infrastructure such as feature store, model registry, and ML CI/CD.
  • •Implement ML-specific CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment with PR-driven workflows, data quality checks, and statistical model validation.
  • •Drive down cost and latency via architecture, hardware choices, and model optimization.
  • •Design drift monitoring (data drift and concept drift) with alerts to support future continuous training workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience, including operating ML or data-intensive systems in production at scale.
  • •Deep experience with the modern ML production stack, including model serving (e.g., SageMaker, Triton), feature stores, model registries, and ML CI/CD.
  • •Strong infrastructure and platform engineering fundamentals: Kubernetes, containerization, AWS (preferred), Terraform/IaC, observability, and incident response.
  • •Experience designing ML platforms or major components (not only consuming SaaS), with judgment on build vs. buy.
  • •Collaborative, able to set technical direction as the most senior MLOps voice across ML, data science, and platform/product engineering teams.
